The most delicious recipe ever! My boyfriend requests this meal all the time. It smells incredible while it’s cooking too 🤤 The spicy maple sauce is the key to making this dish taste incredible.

Total prep/cook time: 30 minutes
Servings: 2-3
Ingredients:
4 chicken sausages (I use Aidell’s Italian Chicken Sausage)
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 medium Russet potatoes or 1 large Russet potato, chopped into small 1/2” inch pieces
2 bell peppers, chopped into large squares
1/2 red onion, chopped into large squares
For the sauce:
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons maple syrup
3 garlic cloves, minced
Seasonings: 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/2 teaspoon pepper
Recipe:
Heat a large pan on medium heat. Add in 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
Chop your chicken sausage into coins. Chop your bell peppers into large square pieces. Chop your potatoes into very small 1/2” inch pieces. Chop your red onion into large square pieces.
When the pan is hot, add in your potatoes. Make sure to continue stirring this meal every few minutes to make sure all sides get evenly cooked! Let cook for 5 minutes. Then, add in your chicken sausage. Let cook for 5 more minutes. Then, add in your bell peppers and red onion. Let cook for 10 more minutes.
Make your sauce in a small bowl. Mix the ingredients around. Pour the sauce on top of the food in the pan. Let the food cook for 2 more minutes and then turn off the heat to the stove.
Optional: top with Parmesan. Serve and enjoy!
